Description: Own a piece of paradise in Columbus, Montana, nestled in the stunning Stillwater County! Surrounded by awe-inspiring views of rolling hills, majestic mountains and vibrant meadows.
This property does have easement documents and plat maps on file (see below link). However, the neighbors have fought us on that. I have documented the evidence that supports legal access to this land in our access notes below.
In our eyes, we think there is a strong case, including documented support that there is legal access and easements to get to this land. Neighbors don’t agree. The Buyer will want to work with an attorney, surveyor, etc to confirm their access and enforce their access rights. This probably won’t happen before your purchase and the property is priced with this in mind.
Wilco is not guaranteeing access and selling the property as-is. Neighbors are not willing to discuss access, so we advise a surveyor or attorney to confirm and enforce your access rights.
